Frequently asked questions

The things people check before they commit.

Setup, migration, how the AI drafts and who approves it, what the plans cost, and where your data sits. If yours is not here, write to sales@adshelpdesk.com and a person replies, usually within four business hours.

Getting your first inbox running.

Most of these come up in the first hour, before anyone has committed to anything.

How long does setup take?
Most teams are live within 5 minutes. Create your workspace, connect your first inbox, invite your team, and start handling tickets. No engineering help required.
Do I need engineering help to set up?
No. ADS Helpdesk is designed for support teams, not developers. Connect your inbox, invite your team, and start handling tickets, all from the browser. The one exception is a custom sender address, which needs two DNS records and takes about 10 minutes.
Do you offer migration from Zendesk, Intercom, or Freshdesk?
Yes. Our team helps Pro and Max customers migrate tickets, contacts, and macros from major helpdesks. Email sales@adshelpdesk.com to get started.
Can I use my own email domain?
Yes. Pro and Max plans include custom sender email addresses so your customers see emails from your domain, not ours. Setup takes about 10 minutes with DNS records.

How the AI works, and where it stops.

We sell email and live chat, answered by people with the AI doing the first draft. Both halves of that matter.

How does the AI work?
The AI reads each incoming message, checks your knowledge base and the customer's past conversations, then drafts a reply for your agent. The agent can send it as written, edit it, or ignore it. Nothing sends without a person.
Does the AI ever reply to a customer on its own?
Only if you switch that on for a specific inbox, and it stays conservative when you do. The default is human first: the AI drafts, your agent decides. That is the whole point of the product.
What channels does ADS Helpdesk support?
Email and live chat, both flowing into one queue. Each channel is managed from the same workspace with the same SLA rules and routing logic. WhatsApp, social channels, and voice are on the roadmap and are not part of a plan today.
What integrations are available?
Live today: Gmail and Outlook forwarding, WooCommerce and Shopify product knowledge, custom knowledge documents, Slack notifications, Stripe customer context, public API keys, and outbound webhooks.
Can I route tickets to teams instead of individual agents?
Yes. Link Sales, Billing, Support, or client-specific teams to the inboxes they serve, then create rules that route by inbox, label, subject, sender, sentiment, or attachment. Round robin and least-open assignment can distribute work within the selected team.
Which plan is right for a BPO or support agency?
Pro is designed for an individual business or focused support team with 10 agents and 6 inboxes. Max is built for larger operations managing multiple clients, with unlimited agents, inboxes, tickets, and automation rules plus multi-client team routing.

What you pay, and what happens to your data.

The answers here match the pricing page and the terms, deliberately.

What happens when my Starter access ends?
Your workspace moves to a read-only state and every conversation, contact, and setting stays exactly where it is. Choosing a paid plan restores full access straight away. Nothing is charged automatically.
Is there a discount for annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing takes 20% off Pro and Max, which is $18 and $39 per month. Write to sales@adshelpdesk.com and we will switch your workspace over.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your workspace settings at any time. Cancellation takes effect at your next billing cycle and your data is retained for 30 days for recovery.
Is my customer data secure?
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2 or later and stored data is encrypted at rest. Access is role-based and every record belongs to one workspace. See our Security page for the full picture.
